Supreme Court Justice Bill Clinton?! W.T.F?! Don’t even joke about this…..

Why, oh why, would we ever even think of floating the idea of Bill Clinton as a Supreme Court Justice.  I would rate this a a complete mockery of this country.  If Hillary ever followed though on this, we would have sunk as a nation to the level of the French.

Now a respected conservative law professor has openly predicted a future President Clinton would name her husband to the high court if a vacancy occurred.

Has everyone forgot that Bill have his law license yanked for FIVE YEARS.  His own statement on the suspension of his law license describes his arrogance and disdain for the law process:

“I have had occasion frequently to reflect on the Jones case. In this consent order, I acknowledge having knowingly violated Judge Wright’s discovery orders in my deposition in that case. I tried to walk a fine line between acting lawfully and testifying falsely, but I now recognize that I did not fully accomplish this goal and that certain of my responses to questions about Ms. Lewinsky were false.”

Read his full statement here.

The fact that a single American would support this insanity makes me very nervous indeed.  CNN’s web poll list 43% of respondents as supporting this idea.  43 FUCKING PERCENT!  For the love of God, what has happened to us?  Have we sunk so low after all?

  1. With all due respect, this sounds like alarmist rhetoric to me. It’s very unlikely that, even if Clinton is elected (and that’s a big uncertainty), she will be able to nominate–much less have confirmed—her own husband as a supreme court justice. By the way, the “legal authority” who started this far-fetched rumor was Douglas Kmiec, who’s been firmly embedded in the Reagan-Bush administrations, and whose OWN son has been serving under Justice Roberts…

  2. Oh yes, I concur this is very far fetched. What was frightnening was the 43% that thought it was just fine to have a lawyer that was disbarred for 5 years nominated to the Supreme Court. I would have to say that was the most troubling thing I found about this whole issue.

I want to say that after reading this blog, that you are a loyal American. Not only do you respect the rule of law and the constitution, but you admit to being a Lions fan. I am a Raiders fan, so I feel your pain. Matt Millen was good as a player.

Anyway, our teams have a better chance of being in the Superbowl next year than Bubba getting on the high court, where he might sexually harass Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I stumbled across your blog. I am a republican blogger myself.
