Clinton dodged bullets in Bosnia, now Obama’s family liberated Auschwitz. What the hell is going on here?!

Granted that on Memorial Day everyone has their story of the Uncle/Grandfather that served in WW II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan, Iraq etc…. These stories usually end up with how he go so drunk on R&R he “fill in funny soldier story here”. That’s awesome. But come on now. You don’t have to make crap up. Particularly if your running for President of the United States. Did Barack “The Liberator” think nobody would notice him telling flat assed lies?! I used to think he was just too inexperienced, and left wing, for the job. Now I think he’s just a liar and mega tool.
Barack Obama is getting called out again for his knowledge of history, including his own family’s, after declaring to veterans on Memorial Day that his uncle helped liberate the Auschwitz death camp at the end of World War II.
“I had a uncle who was one of the, who was part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps and the story in our family is that when he came home, he just went up into the attic and he didn’t leave the house for six months, right. Now obviously something had really affected him deeply but at that time there just weren’t the kinds of facilities to help somebody work through that kind of pain,” he said.
Two problems with the tale: Auschwitz was liberated by the Soviet Army, and Obama’s American mother was an only child.
I guess his “platform of change” includes changing basic historical facts as well. Let’s see him orate his ass out of this crap. This makes me ill.
*UPDATE*
Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton released a statement later Tuesday clarifying the remarks, saying the Illinois senator meant to refer to the Buchenwald camp, which American soldiers did liberate. Obama was also apparently referring to his great uncle, Charles Payne.
Payne, a brother of Obama’s grandmother, served in the 89th Infantry Division that liberated one of the subcamps of Buchenwald, according to the Obama campaign.
Sooo, he wasn’t lying just being deliberately misleading? Nope. I think he’s just full of crap.
