McCain slaps Obama with the white glove
McCain has called out Obama for talking the talk, but not walking the walk.
Republican John McCain on Monday sharply criticized Democratic rival Barack Obama for not having been to Iraq since 2006, and said they should visit the war zone together.
I like to think of this as a verbal face slapping challenge against Obama to show he has even the slightest idea of what he’s yammering on about.
“He really has no experience or knowledge or judgment about the issue of Iraq and he has wanted to surrender for a long time,” the Arizona senator added. “If there was any other issue before the American people, and you hadn’t had anything to do with it in a couple of years, I think the American people would judge that very harshly.”
Change, change change…. blah, blah, blah…… Change what? How? He’s kinda leaving that shit out. So McCain has dropped the glove at Obama’s feet.
“I go back every few months because things are changing in Iraq,” he said. McCain questioned whether Obama has ever been briefed by Petraeus. “I would also seize that opportunity to educate Senator Obama along the way.”
I say it’s 20 paces at sundown. Let them settle this old school style. Seems a tad unfair to Obama though. Hey Barack, the pointy end of the bullet goes forward by the way.
