Advice to Obama: “Dude find a new church, and fast!”

Yes I know I said no politics today. I couldn’t help it. Let’s not call this a post on politics. Let’s call it a post on stupidity. At what point does Senator ‘clueless’ Obama decide to find himself a new church? It’s not hard, really it’s not. They are all over the place, and membership is free. It’s easy and no lawyers are needed. Heck the blue haired old ladies at my church threaten to leave every time a choir member changes within the church. Why on God’s green earth is he sticking with Trinity United Church of ChristPolitical Action Committee in Chicago? I hope the IRS slam dunks these frauds and yanks their tax free status. Apolitical my ass. Yes, I’ve only seen the clips and not every sermon. But in those clips I see a congregation enthusiastically cheering clearly political, racist, ignorant hate speech. Not much of a church. Obama needs to cut loose this albatross and fast. Or better yet, keep making excuses for them and get crushed by McCain in the election by people that don’t think America sucks as much as Obama’s friends do.
WASHINGTON–Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) said in a statement he was “deeply disappointed” in Father Michael Pfleger, after the priest –in a scene caught on videotape– mocked Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y) from the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago–the home church of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
“As I have traveled this country, I’ve been impressed not by what divides us, but by all that that unites us. That is why I am deeply disappointed in Father Pfleger’s divisive, backward-looking rhetoric, which doesn’t reflect the country I see or the desire of people across America to come together in common cause,” Obama said in a statement.
That’s real weak you coward. Now try saying: “I am no longer a member of that establishment.”. What are you afraid of anyway? So your mentors are racists liars who hate America. Seems a good reason to cut them loose while running for Prez, don’t it?

(CNN)– Sen. Barack Obama said Saturday that he has resigned from the church where controversial sermons by his former pastor and other ministers created political headaches for his campaign.
“We don’t want to have to answer for everything that’s stated in the church,” the Democratic front-runner said. “We also don’t want the church subjected to the scrutiny that a presidential campaign legitimately undergoes.”
Obama said he was resigning “with some sadness.”
Wow! Even when he does the right thing he does it wrong. He’s quitting to save the church scrutiny?! What a weasel. This was such a squirrely response. Can’t he just say “I don’t agree, and no longer fit in this crowd.”? I wonder how many big donners belong to the United Trinity PAC of Chicago (UTPoC). At least Oprah has the balls to quite the UTPoC because she didn’t like what was being said there. I guess Obama either agrees with their hate speech, or is to big a coward to just say he disagrees with them for some reason.
After Obama locks in the DNC nomination I guess the POTR will have to come out and officially endorse McCain. I’m still holding out for my free shirt from them though…….
