Daunte Culpepper is now officially a Detroit Lion
Not only is Culpper now a Lion he is likely to start this Sunday vs. Jacksonville due to an alleged injury to Dan Orlovsky’s thumb.
Culpepper, 31, announced his unofficial retirement from the NFL in early September, unable to find a suitable opportunity after abbreviated stints in Miami and Oakland the past two seasons. But two weeks ago, he changed his mind after talking to the Lions, among other teams.
Three days of practice after coming out of retirement. Let’s see that will give Detroit about 5 plays to work on with Culpepper in time for this Sunday. Hey all you guys in Fantasy Football land pick the Jacksonville DST this week. They are going to have a field day with Detroit. I’m guessing a grand total of only 4 running and 2 passing plays will be used all day………
