Wednesday – Hump day.  You’re halfway there and things are looking up.  Plus it’s called ‘Hump’ day.  Ya gotta like that.

Thursday – Only one more work day till Friday.  You can almost taste the Friday Happy Hour specials already.  Got a solid work day in the office as everyone pitches in to get crap done.  Why? So they can scam out early on Friday of course.  Added bonus on Thursday is the NFL game that night.

Friday – TGIF baby.  You worked hard Thursday, so scamming out early today is possible.  Any new work can be pushed to Monday because “Hell it’s almost the weekend boss!”.  The entire weekend’s siren call sings to you.  Day is spent planning your off time to come, and drinking.  Not much real work done in the office, but the atmosphere is filled with the prospect of joyous libations tonight.

Saturday – Ahhh sweet sweet Saturday.  Sleep in an extra hour maybe, beach in the summer, BBQs and beers in the fall.  BSing with neighbors over the back fence.  Maybe getting a bit of shooting in.  More beers.  Playing trains with the kids.  Added bonus on Saturday is the college football games all the live long day.

Sunday – The day of rest.  Sounds nice right?  Yes, it is the Lords day.  Church, lunch out with the family and more FOOTBALL!  Real football, the NFL, not that NCAA stuff from Sat.

Monday – The work hangover day.  No one really gets anything done in the office on Monday.  You spend the AM recanting your teams delicious football victory, or moan about how the refs stole the game from them.  Some boring afternoon meetings to plan the week.  Those suck, but your mind is really on what Monday’s all about……….  Monday Night Football, and more beer!!

Tuesday – Back on point.  Tuesday’s just suck.  Period.  End of story.

Unless you’re a Packers fan.  In that case….. bite me and I hope you have bad football watching day.

1.  Just because the DHS thinks I AM the profile of a threat (because so many middle aged white gun owning war veterans are rampaging through the streets/taking hostages/blowing up buildings ect…) doesn’t mean that I’m not cuddly and fun.  It means they have become the biggest fraking morons on the plant.  It actually scares me to think what this PC horseshit may be doing to any legitimate security efforts.

2.  The RNC gave an unneeded moral high-ground victory to President Obama by not volunteering to move the Republican primary debate back a night.  He is the President of the United Sates after all.  Even though I don’t support the man himself I do still respect the office of the President of the United States.  The night picked by the WH was a B.S. play, but the RNC could have turned it around and came out looking like the “better man” on the issue.   Point to the Prez.

3.  I’m so fraking giddy about the new NFL season I  have to concentrate not to pee on myself.

4.  The Congressional Black Caucus needed to tell it’s folks that their repeated racists comments accusing any group of non-DNC white folks as racist is well……….. racist.  They look like race baiting oppertunists with zero grasp on any form of Congressional issue.  Can I start a “Vote out the CBC before they make the rest of us even dumber for hearing them speak.” PAC? names a bit long, but I’ll work on it.

5.  I do sooooo love my beer, but it’s got to many damn calories.  With the help of some good friends I’ve begun a training regiment of various Scotches and Irish Whiskey.  Not really a rant.  More of a general bitch that good beer has to many calories   and Whiskey/Scotch is just to damn expensive.

2.  The liberal blogs are oddly quietly since 2 Nov.  Maybe they’re reassessing the thought that the right is full of racists Nazi frakers.  Not all of us are jack asses.  Some of us are normal folks who have normal ideas.  Well…… maybe not me, but I know a few.

3.  Jim Beam Black has the nice subtle soft finish of a rubber mallet.    I kinda like it.

4.  The President Obama Administration better start realizing they need to stop sounding like pretentious condescending jack asses or they’ll be “Jimmy Catered” in 2012.  Even the Euros are treating him like a lame duck already.  That is telling.

5.  Sarah Palin should not run in 2012.  I hate to say this, but the liberal attack dogs have effectively made her a damaged marketing strategy.  It’s not fair, or just, but it is the facts of life.

6.  The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are crippling the military.  Not that the A/N/AF/MC won’t fight and win every battle, but the endless wear on our forces is taking it’s toll.  Too many suicides, too many broken families.  If the people, or God forbid our government, do not want us on the field of battle then maybe it’s time to go.   I have fought: I have won, I have lost comrades, I stand by what I’ve done and will do as the American people want, but I do not want to see a brother die in vain.  American needs to get off the damn fence.  Let the military fight as we need to, kill the enemy, and win the damn war once and for all.  Or….. let us come home.  What are you afraid of?

I may as well be on a quest for the Loch Ness monster being ridden by a leprechaun drinking pixie juice out of the Holy Grail.  It’s just not going happen.  The only light beer I’ve been even vaguely able to tolerate is Yuengling Light.  Screw global warming, we need to fix the taste of light beer and pronto!  If you say “But you should try Corona Light.” I’ll put you in with the Zima crowd and feed you to the first zombie I see.

Where are we now you ask?  I discovered that Bud Light Wheat doesn’t make me retch uncontrollably.

So there we are.  One year on field studies and you get Bud Light Wheat and Yuengling Light.  That’s it folks.  I’m open to suggestions from the masses, but I sure as hell am not going out of my way to test any more light beers for you freaks…..  This experiment is now done.  Thank God!

So now you get to see the dump in progress. In no particular order I give you two weeks of random,  un-referenced, totally subjective, opinion based, cultural lens biased, news snipped, rantings of one Pissed Off Tree Rat:

1. After the earthquake in Haiti does anyone seriously think that the U.N. has a legitimate purpose anymore?  I think they’re still formulating their press release on what they plan to take credit for after the Americans and British are done with the actual helping out.
2. Am I the only one mystified by the gushing out of money to Haiti by the Hollywood telethons?  Not that they raised money for the cause.  That was good.   Yes it was good.   But where have these caring folks been?  Haiti has been the Somalia of the northern hemisphere for almost 2 decades.  That $500+ million would have been handy before the earthquake.   Nobody gave a shit about them last year and I been Bono and friends won’t next year either. 
3. Is there anyone that Nancy Pelosi is not condescending to?   I actually think less of the people in San Francisco for voting her into office.  Fair?  Nope.  But this is my subjective brain dump so it is what it is. 
4. Saints won the Super Bowl.   I picked the Colts to win, but really had no emotional investment in either team.  I just wanted to see a good game.  First half was great football to watch.  The WHO’s halftime show was a disaster no matter how cool the laser show was.  Dear NFL, please for the love of GOD enough with the post-expiration-date-band half time shows.  Second half of the game blew.   Granted it would have been better if I was a Saints fan.  My friend ‘The Weasel’ was peeing on himself I’m sure.
5. President Obama’s FY 11 defense budget gives a 1.4% pay raise to the military.  The lowest pay raise given since 1973.  Sometimes it is the thought that counts.  I think the DNC can count out the military vote in 2012.
6. I think Iran will be the cause the first nuclear weapon to be used since WWII. 
7. As long as Hamas and the rest of those murdering terrorist Islamofascists hold control in Gaza, the only people who will give a shit about the Palestinians are U.N. delegates when the cameras are on.  Where’s their telethon?  I hear they need to raise cash to replace those rockets that they randomly fire over civilian cities in Israel.   Along those same lines how come the wall on the Israel boarder with Gaza is “inhumane” but the one with Egypt is not?
8. Ford took NOT ONE CENT from a taxpayer bailout.  And their reward?  Record profits this year and they cornered the market share.  SUCK IT SOCIALISTS!  Free market wins again.
9. The whole “Blame Bush” thing is sooooo 2009. 
10. I’m waiting to see which aspect of America the President deems evil, greedy, corrupt or “the problem” next. 
11. The Brown election in Massachusetts has given me hours of pleasure.  Not for what you think (DNC supermajority loss), but because it gave a reminder to every member of Congress that none of them are entitled to their seats and can be voted out by the lowely pissed off common man.  
12. I have now added the global warming die-hards to the same category as Birthers and the folks who deny we ever landed on the moon.
13. I have to get back to posting more Hotties and fast.
14. We can pull out of Iraq as soon as logistically possible.   I think the Iraqis can take it from here.  It will be messy, but in the end I think they can pull it off now.  I didn’t think that in 2006, but hell things do change for the better some times.
15. I’m going to buy a new assault rifle this month.  I hear every time someone does George Soros gets a 24 hour migraine.  Maybe I’ll buy two.
16. Any day now China is going use their stack of IOUs and call in a marker forcing us to change our Taiwan “One China” policy.  Under threat of an absolute U.S. collapse Taiwan loses.   That’s going to suck for Taiwan.
17. Who the hell is running MSNBC and still keeps their job?
18. I don’t think anyone really  has any idea what the hell the Supreme Court ruling on Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission was about, or means.  All I can figure out after reading the decision is that it doesn’t have shit to do with foreign governments buying American elections.  I think Obama pulled that out of his ass as that is still very much illegal.
19. President Obama’s decision to cancel NASA’s manned exploration program is:  odd, confusing, weird, dumb, crushing to dreams of aspiring scientists and engineers across the country, inane, short sided, idiotic and a just plain “WTF?!” sort of deal.  Another shot to the head of the American dream.  Makes me sad and mumble under my breath.   Decades flushed down the toilet.
20. The Detroit Lions will go 8 and 8 next season.  There I said it out loud.  You can now call the nice men in the white coats for me………………….
