The Lions and my Light-Beer-Draft (LBD)

1. Only 4 of the top 10 pick were defensive. I would have flipped those numbers. That said, I’m cautiously optimistic overall.
2. Pettigrew and Delmas are aggressive monsters, on both sides of the ball, who will most likely be starters this year. I’m looking forward to seeing how our defense steps up early in the season. If they don’t the Lions will be lucky to get 4 wins this year.
3. Stafford signed a six-year deal worth a maximum of $78 million, including $41.7 million guaranteed. That’s alot of cash for someone to sit on a bench all year. I will NOT be calling for his insertion into the lineup after the first bad game. He may have potential but the chances that he’s another Ben Roethlisberger is pretty slim. If Culpepper (a.k.a. Mr. Glass) can keep himself on the field we need to stick with him.
4. In an effort to get back to my fighting weight I’ve been on a quest to find a light beer that doesn’t suck. I started this unfortunate experiment on Draft Day. I may as well be on a quest for the Loch Ness monster being ridden by a leprechaun drinking pixie juice out of the Holy Grail. It’s just not going happen. The only light beer I’ve been even vaguely able to tolerate is Yuengling Light. Screw global warming, we need to fix the taste of light beer and pronto! If you say “But you should try Corona Light.” I’ll put you in with the Zima crowd and feed you to the first zombie I see.

A: On the road: CA, VA, NJ and now FL. I’ll be in Florida all his week working. Well………. I’ll be in Miami with an Iraq battle buddy on Thursday night so that may not exactly be called working but the rest of the week is actually work. I’d say that Miami strippers may be involved, but Mrs Rat may log on and I don’t want that heat now do I so we’ll leave that out.
Random thoughts tonight:
The next time they congress grills the banks over the mortages I want Barney Franks and ACORN sitting in the inquisition seats. I hope the Rico suite by the FBI vs. ACORN kicks in before they get a single frakin $ of my tax money. Why isn’t Franks being investigated right now?!
The stimulus package only helps you if you’re in construction, politics or don’t pay your taxes. If you bought into a sub-prime mortgage then I give shit one about you. Why do I have to pay for your failures? I pay my bills, and now I have to pay yours? That’s crap and I want to slap you in the mouth.
The Obamassiah pledged to cut the deficit by 50%. He inherited a $1 trillion dollar deficit then doubled it in 30 days. Here’s an idea, don’t put us another trillion in debt and you’ve hit the mark. Moron.
My social security is now gone……….. Hell I expected that. Can I get a refund there? I wont even ask for the vig.
I feel sorry for my kids. I really do. They’ll be paying off the debt of slack jawed losers their entire lives. Thanks Obamassiah. I’ll take care of my family no matter watter. I expect nothing from the government and neither should you. Suck it up America and stop expecting handouts. Your “free $” is coming from real Americans working every day to keep their own families afloat. Stop taking from my children you worthless leaches.

I thought I was confused when I saw the add on CNN’s website front page. Nope. All pretenses of media objectivity in now officially DEAD. CNN is now actually profiting for endorsing the Obamassiah. I’m at a complete loss of words. Their talking heads claim objectivity while the “news” outlet is actively selling it’s own Obama endorsement products. It’s the brazen public bias of it all that throws me. Everyone knows it’s there, but…………. wow………. I’m actually flabbergasted. Maybe it’s just me…….
