Had to throw this at you before I begin to completely devolve from politics into a beer swilling football freak for a few months. While politics is amusing, the none to subtle siren’s call of the NFL gets louder each day. I think I will just keep, as a special memory, the images of my lefty peers having written apocalyptic seizures that Glen Beck failed to appear in a KKK robe with a burning cross or generally say anything hateful or disrespectful to anyone yesterday. How dare he not proof out their talking point thesis statement of his obvious hate and racism. Their idioligical bigiotry was laid bare by the own preconceived notions and abject refusal to admit they have been a tad mistaken in this case. Well no use in laughing at the liberals crying over their spilled racism ranting milk. I’m moving on to one last political pitch for awhile. A pitch for Da Man Bruce in 2012. Hey I’m just throwing it out there. Maybe it’s time for a little sugar Freaks.

Astute observation and sooo on point. It only get’s uglier from here to November Freaks. I thought the last election cycle would be the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m now retracting that with a prediction that the 2010 AND 2012 will make the last look like a preschool Christmas pageant. I also predict that ABC/CBS/MSNBC will tout the 8/28 rally is an ‘unquantifiable racist event’ angle out on an hourly basis this Saturday for absolutely no reason what so ever.

I think it may be time for Ahmadinejad to set down his dog-eared copy of The Life and Ideas of Jim Jones and take have himself a little quiet time. Iranian national suicide is in nobody’s best interest. Particularly that of the actually Iranian people who could probably give one shit about what “The Great Satan” is up to these days. Maybe he should spend little less time preparing for the Hidden Imam to re-appear and purify the ummah (Community of Believers) and take the world for Islam.

Could it be? Are the football reporters/pundits showing optimism towards my beleaguered Detroit Lions as noted by the Fox Sports poll below? Or are they merely exhausted by repeatedly smashing my team with their literary hammers? I know what I think. I think they’re waiting with very very cautious optimism towards Detroit this year. I hope their right. As they neglected to add Detroit to the predicted “worst team” list I will let my hope for the new season grow a bit. Just a bit though. I’m not that far gone. Yet…………..

Who say’s a Thursday night in Vegas has to be dull? At least I vaguely recall that may no longer be a true statement. Maybe after some deep regression hypnosis I’ll be able to recall the answer to the images floating fuzzily through my brain. Also, does anyone still speak Klingon? I need a weird tattoo on my butt translated before Mrs. Rat reads it. Don’t ask me how it got there, as I most assuredly do not recall.

So it’s off to a trailer camper a few dozen miles north of Barstow in the high desert.
